I am trying to install this on my subdomain at ahaiap.org.
It always throws error that "The following module is missing from the file system:cod .
I tried this a number of times but no solution.
Here is the message I get:
User warning: The following module is missing from the file system: cod. For information about how to fix this, see the documentation page. in _drupal_trigger_error_with_delayed_logging() (line 1128 of /home/ahaiap/public_html/conference/cod/includes/bootstrap.inc).
Please help.

japerryHi Ahaiaip,
Curious -- did you use the downloadable tarball from Drupal.org? There is the profile (http://drupal.org/project/cod) and the support modules (http://drupal.org/project/cod_support)
If you download the tarball from http://drupal.org/project/cod, that should install the distribution.

ahaiap CreditAttribution: ahaiap as a volunteer commentedYes, I did download from Drupal.org. Tried to extract via cPanel, did not work so extracted and uploaded via ftp. Same issue! I downloaded https://www.drupal.org/project/cod/releases/7.x-2.0-beta5
Is there any way I can first install drupal plain and then add this cod module? Tried to find out but did not find the way to do so.

ahaiap CreditAttribution: ahaiap commentedYes I did use the offcial tarr ball distribution. I extracted it as usual on cPanel, that did not work, so extracted on my local machine and then uploaded via ftp. Nothing worked. I tried local offline server also but that also throws the same error of missing module cod.
