This issue is about listing what is needed to release the maxlength module as stable.

Nice to have

  • Additional tests for actual typing of characters
  • Convert the existing D7 maxlength.test file
  • Have less alter code, but make some form of reusable code

Hi, are there only some nice to have for a stable version ?
Maybe publishing one stable version would help for the module adoption
