I'm a new user and would like to contribute a new guide. I've written a guide I'd like to share for new programmers regarding content types but get an access denied when trying to create new content.

Specifically, it consolidates twig file naming, field naming and the preprocesssor_hook and how they directly relate to the content type entity. It would be part of a series that would also include the same for views, ultimately teaching how to create a full view and how it directly equates to field and file names for customised classes and themes.

The current documentation falls short in this regard.

What would be the name and preferred location for such a guide.

Can this go into Twig documentation https://www.drupal.org/docs/8/theming/twig? Or are you talking about something like D8 version of this guide: https://www.drupal.org/docs/7/nodes-content-types-and-fields?

I think the title could be 'Custom Content Types with Twig' and would be a good fit in the Twig documentation.

I also have at least one companion guide to go along with it for views but I can submit that as a separate issue once I have it completed.

How much content is there? Can it be a page with TOC on top and anchor links? Does it have to use 'guide' content type?

No, it could probably be a single page with TOC, not a whole stand-alone guide.

Great. Then please go to https://www.drupal.org/docs/8/theming/twig and create a new page. Any confirmed user on D.o can do this. The link is at the bottom of the right sidebar. Once the page is created, guide maintainer will review it and add to the guide menu.
