Not sure if this is a bug or if it is by design. When User A logs out, their chat window history with User B is erased completely. So if User A wants to continue a chat with User B, they cannot see the full history of their chat before they logged out. It would seem to me that the entire chat history should be visible within the chat so that User A can return to the site next week/month/year and resume the existing conversation thread with User B.

Is that possible? If so, how?

Chat messages are manage by user session. So if user is logged out, user session is killed and all messages are wipe out from session only.

But you can see your messages under user account.
