Cross-highlighting issue

Hi,
I have a Leaflet map showing mountain trails. Two content types, track (line) and POI (point), both on the same map and a block table showing the list of POI.
Tracks and POI are connected with an entity reference in POI.
Both map and POI table are presented as blocks in a content bottom region of the track node.
Cross-highlighting works fine until I add contextual filters, that I need to limit the POI on the map and on the table to the ones related to the current track node.
I can paste both views (working and not) if useful.
Can cross-highlighting works with contextual filters?

P.S. Contextual filter for map is Content: Nid, while that on the POI table is (Content entity referenced from field_route_reference) Content: Nid, not sure if this matter.
