first I like to say I love that theme. That's why I creating bug reports for this!
Of course disabling thee chancing feature for theming is not hard that much.
Browser sync is one of the grate features that comes with radix therefor you should add a section about how using services.yml and local.settings.php to disable caching while theming and enable it, again.
Not because thats so hard bat for convenience of the user for Drupal and Backdrop as well because it will be easier to reat the steps in the docs than google arround and figure out how to achieve that.
