Hello,
When I click on "display type", the dropdown menu has no options. Did I miss something?
Thanks!

Please goto Configuration => Development => Jquery update and Check your jQuery Version. It should be greater than 1.7.
Thanks

louisalexandrecazal CreditAttribution: louisalexandrecazal commentedAfter encountering the same issue on another site I followed the directions and checked for the jQuery version being used. It was 1.8 so this was not the issue.
It turns out the Theme developper module was causing the issue. Disable it, and voilà! Problem solved.
