Unfortunately it is impossible to reference pages oft the items or galleries created by the media suite by the reference field, so i cant reference them on my other pages. Especially for galleries this would be nice ...

I am not sure what is the problem. Any entity should be referencable with an entity reference field. Can you provide some more information?
