Having trouble finding the solution for this; for numerous reasons, we're not utilizing the Search Pages API module on our current site build, and we're looking for a simple solution to add images from our content types into the search results pages. It seems it should be a simple process, but we can't find any info on how to get this accomplished.

For one site, they're embedded into the body of an article and basic page via the WYSIWYG editor. There is another use case (on a separate site) where the images are image fields added to a custom content type, named "track". We're trying to add images in both sites' search results pages.
