View is automatically deleted if a field the view references is deleted

If a view references a field of a content type, when you delete the field from the content type, the entire view is deleted.

Easy to replicate, simply create a custom field on any content type, then create a view that uses this new custom field.

Go back and delete the field from the content type, now you'll find the view is also deleted.
