The lightbox2 javascript is not showing up on page load. Nor if I put it in the header or bottom in the settings. Strangely enough, the CSS files load fine. I am using the bootstrap theme, changed to bartik to have the same problem. I tried all versions in Jquery Update from 1.5 to 1.10 but with no luck. I am feeling like I miss something but after a couple of hours searching, I have no more options left and ask for your help here...

turn off javascript aggregation and compression
clear drupal caches
reset/restart your webserver service

double check the configuration of lightbox2 in your views.

lightbox2 is mainly designed to work with views however it can be used in other ways, review the documentation again please.
