Existing Feature:
Tablefield cell are textfield in default. There is no option for select field.
Select in Tablefield:
I have added a select field option for particular column cells by getting column numbers and options for the columns in field settings form.

No. it can not be applied directly on the D7 version. You can try to copy/paste the code manually to the right places, adjust the D8 API specific things to D7. If you so, please post back a patch here for D7.
