I am about to conduct an update of Mysql but a drush report shows I ned to conduct a Drupal core update.
Is it ok to do the core update first or after the Mysql upgrade?
Here is the drush report. The modules are not supported I guess because of Mysql issue
Thanks any advice here.

Code updates will be made to drupal core.
WARNING: Updating core will discard any modifications made to Drupal core files, most noteworthy among these are .htaccess and robots.txt. If you have made any modifications to these files, please back them up before updating so that you can re-create your modifications in the updated version of the file.
Note: Updating core can potentially break your site. It is NOT recommended to update production sites without prior testing.

Do you really want to continue? (y/n):

the answer depends on whether the version of mysql you are upgrading/updating to is compatible with the version of Drupal currently installed. google 'drupal system requirements' for more information on D6 (assuming there is still docs there referring to D6 as it's no longer supported).

My guess then would be to update the core module and then update Mysql, then do another drush report to see the modules status.Does this make sense?

Drupal core updated to 6.38 which is end of life. All modules "not supported"
MYsql now up dated on Apache server.
goodsofusa.com Internal 500 error!

I need a Drupal developer to fix the files. please advise
