hi guys , i install 3 modules 1. Node expire 2. Node expire extras 3. Node expire patterns

i just want to create a reminder and send email to the user , i read a lot and i think that now i need to create a rule ...but i try and nothing happened. I have no knowledge of the Drupal system...so i really need your help.
