Problem/Motivation

Lots of tests fail if the visual inline (html diff) library is present.

It is not on the testbot, that's why HEAD passes.
When working locally with a healthy dev environment, lots of tests will fail, just because the extra library is present and one plugin more - our preferred recommended one - is available.

Proposed resolution

Make all tests pass no matter if the library is present or not.
