Taxonomy based filter problem

Bump.

When I try to create a new view and filter on a taxonomy term from a dropdown, I get the following error:

An AJAX HTTP error occurred.
HTTP Result Code: 500
Debugging information follows.
Path: /admin/structure/views/ajax/config-item-extra/student_grants/page/filter/term_node_tid_depth
StatusText: Service unavailable (with message)
ResponseText: Error: [] operator not supported for strings in views_ui_regenerate_tab() (line 2399 of /home/moosilauke/mydomain.org/sites/all/modules/views/includes/admin.inc).

I am using Drupal 7.5.1
