I'm running Commerce Kickstart 7.x-2.39 on Pantheon.io.

I recently had to upgrade to entityreference-7.x-1.x-dev so that I could apply patch 2010898#comment-11703483 which makes it possible to use a token as an argument to filter a Views entityreference display.

In order to preserve this change when Kickstart is updated, I installed entityreference-7.x-1.x-dev in sites/all/modules/contrib as suggested in 2507787.

Since then, the Distro Update Manager complains that the version of entityreference does not match the .make file and therefore issues a warning and sends daily emails as if this was a security issue.

Because receiving a daily fake update emails is annoying, I've updated /drupal_root/profiles/commerce_kickstart/drupal-org.make to reflect the version of entityreference I require.

It may not be best practice. But in the absence of better advice, it's not all that bad.

I imagine this file will be overwritten anyway when Kickstart is updated and that's not a big deal. IMHO its better than the daily email telling me I need to update from CK2.39 to CK2.39.

Marking as outdated, since we've had multiple releases and updated that module.
