At the moment it is not possible to turn off the language detection method 'Selected language':
Why?
It is possible to change the fallback language to another language, but not remove it.
What if you don't want untranslated content to fallback to English or any other language?

markdcI have a use case in which only the source language of content should show. The site has no default content language. And users cannot choose their language preference.
