Select product during checkout with Commerce Registration

In my website I sell trips, I found Commerce Registration and it works very well but I didn't understand how select an extra product (in my case the assurance for the trip)...I tried to add Product reference field in Registration, but after registration that product is not added to cart. I would that this selection form (yes/no) will be available for all registrant. Thank you in advance for you support
