This distribution is including https://www.drupal.org/project/blazy for performance reasons. You may want to consider also including https://www.drupal.org/project/cdn. It's currently in the RC stage.

The first stable release was made about two weeks ago: https://www.drupal.org/project/cdn/releases/8.x-3.0. It went through months of RC, so should be pretty stable. Zero bug reports since release.

Just FYI: another 4 months later, still zero bug reports. Almost 400 sites using the Drupal 8 version.

Right now we do not see a purpose in just adding this module to the distribution. It does not have a meaning by itself, but we will propably create some "Best practice" documentation, where we descript possible performance improvements like this.
