Going to edit Account, change any field and save, it will give you an error about the password however I did not intend to change my password nor does it tell me it is required

- Logged in as administrator (uid 1).
- Enabled Password Policy 7.x-2.x-dev.
- Enabled the example password policy.
- Browsed to 'My account'.
- Changed Time zone.
- Pressed "Save". No errors observed.
Note that current password is required by Drupal if you are changing the username or e-mail address.
Are you able to reproduce the bug with those steps? If not, can you provide more detailed steps to allow me to reproduce the bug?

I was testing the version 7.x-2.0-alpha7 of the module.
I tried to reproduce the issue without success. What I can reproduce is the behaviour that AohRveTPV details in its comment.
