I'd like to contribute to the 8.x branch of this module. I am currently writing a custom module with functionality that should be in the contributed space, and this project is the logical place for it.

Namely, I intend to:

  • Use composer for dependency management
  • Provide a Stripe API service that can be used by other modules
  • Perform coding standards corrections
  • Move to a RC tag

Just thought I'd say that I was put off using this module due to the libraries requirement.

With the stripe packages available in composer it seems a bit unnecessary to have to separately clone them it into the libraries folder or include as a git submodule.

+1 for using composer if possible!
