I recently purchased the premium version of Zymphonies theme (http://www.zymphonies.com/drupal-premium-theme/unix-multipurpose-theme). I am unable to install the full sample site provided. I have contacted the company and they have been less than helpful and indicate that problem must be on my side, as the theme works fine.

I use Mac OS X Sierra with the latest MAMP edition as my local development (PHP 7.0.10). I am perfectly able to install Drupal 8 core and run it, as well as various themes. However, when it comes to their theme, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Interface 'Symfony\Component\DependencyInjection\IntrospectableContainerInterface' not found in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/unix-multipurpose-theme/core/lib/Drupal/Component/DependencyInjection/Container.php on line 53

Given that I have no problems running any other Drupal sites, my assumption would be an issue with the theme itself. Any thoughts out there to guide my troubleshooting? Or at least point me in the right direction?

pasting the error into google the following results are returned:

https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF...'Symfony%5CComponent%5CDependencyInjection%5CIntrospectableContainerInterface'+not+found+in+%2FApplications%2FMAMP%2Fhtdocs%2Funix-multipurpose-theme%2Fcore%2Flib%2FDrupal%2FComponent%2FDependencyInjection%2FContainer.php+on+line+53

The above would need to be worked through to determine what might be wrong.

I did a fresh install. I wiped it out and tried twice, same result. Zymphonies people have been of no help whatsoever. They simply say it works, and I tell them no it doesn't. I won't ever buy a theme from them again.

I run many sites on the same server configuration - a standard LAMP

Yup, that sounds about right. Same happened with me. I ended up taking them to "PayPal court" to get my money back. Zymphonies is a scam...
