After publish Last Updated only shows the publication date

When a node goes from draft to published, the last Updated date is the nodes publication date.

If the node is edited after it has been published the Last Updated field time does not change it continues to display the date the node was last published.

If the node is put back into draft then the Last Update field value displays correctly.

Is there a patch or fix available?
