Rules link token string different from rules link on node

Hi,

So the title said it all. When I generate a rules link with a token in, for example, a mail, then the token string is always different from the string generated in my node. The token does not work (it sends me to an access denied page on my website) while the string generated in the buttons on the nodes works fine.

Does anyone have a hint as to why these two strings could be different when they are generated from an identical node?
