I need insert a filter form (textfield) in the table directory listing that shows search results for username (I'm using realname module).

How could I do it?

Actually, I didn't fully understand your request: you need a filter-by-user feature in the admin/config/media/private-files-download-permission page?

I must say that unfortunately I'm really short of time and the project is mainly focused on bugfixes; but I'm waiting for your suggestions and see what I can do.
