Problem/Motivation

When a page and a block have the same exposed filters, and users use the filter on the block then the results are not displayed in the block itself. Instead they are redirected to the page where the results are displayed.

This is not only confusing, but also doesn't work if for example the block is something shown to general visitors, while the page is an admin page with restricted access.

If the page is disabled, then the filtered results are displayed correctly in the block.

It looks like Views doesn't treat the block as a display in its own right, but as if it was the block that comes from "Exposed form in block".

Is this problem still happening? If so, can you provide complete steps to reproduce the issue (starting from "Install Drupal core").

There have been no further reports of this problem and steps to reproduce have not been supplied, therefor I am closing this issue.
