We are using facets in a context were the results list can become very long. The soft-limit option in the existing LinkWidget is not sufficient to improve UX to acceptable levels.

Specifically two features are intended:
- allow to extend the list in distinct steps instead of all-or-nothing
- introduce an input field "search box" that instantly filters the results list to fitting entries

I don't think this is a usecase that's being asked for very frequently, we discussed this at Drupalcon Dublin and figured that this is something that's great as a seperate module.
