I have a situation where I need to display the link to the video as a text link with a custom title. Is that possible? Right now when I add a video embed field using version 8.1, the only options I see for display are thumbnail and embed. I also do not see the ability to add a custom title to use for the desired text link. Thanks for your help.

The custom title for each field would require changes to the field schema, which is probably not going to happen at this stage. I would recommend a new field formatter and possibly another field to store the title.

If this is just a link to a video however, I wonder why a link field isn't more appropriate?
