Tasks, status (unmarked tasks are assumed not to be done yet), and who will do the tasks:
- [DONE] Translate the "scenario text" into CA (CA language team). The text to be translated is the "Scenario Text" section of the scripts/TermsToTranslate.fods spreadsheet. What is needed is a 3-column sheet with:
Context (the column called Context in the TermsTo Translate sheet) / English text / Your language text
- [DONE] Make initial automated screenshots (jhodgdon)
- Make initial non-automated screenshots. See the source/en/images/README.txt file for details of which images need to be made. (CA language team)
- Check each screenshot to make sure it is all in the target language and is readable. (CA language team will do this as they translate each topic. If problems are found, add tasks here so that the screenshots can be updated.)

jhodgdonHi, sorry for the delay! I have been out in the wilderness on canoe and backpacking trips... now back for a week or so before I go out on a cycling trip. (I'm enjoying semi-retirement!!). So... I took a look at the spreadsheet in #4 and it looks good (in as much as I can read Spanish and the Catalan is semi-readable).
Anyway, I will be making Hungarian and Catalan screenshots starting today and will update this issue as I go (probably Hungarian first, since they have been waiting a bit longer).

jhodgdonI've worked out most of the bugs in the Hungarian screenshots, and am ready to start on Catalan today! Hopefully it will be pretty straightforward.
One concern I have is that localize.drupal.org reports that the Drupal 8.2.x UI for Catalan is only 72% translated. So... there may be a lot of English in the screenshots. Maybe after seeing them, your team can prioritize translating whatever appears in English?

jhodgdonOops. That was 71 contributors... not sure of the % complete. Anyway, the graph on localize.drupal.org looks like about 2/3 to 3/4 complete. We'll see what the screenshots look like!
Also the Catalan team can work on the manual screenshots at any time (see item 3 in the issue summary).

jhodgdonThe automated CA screenshots are done! There is some English here and there, and see also #2806845: Fix strange characters in non-English screenshots for two images.
Updating summary... the manual screenshots still need to be done.

jhodgdonJust wanted to let you know... I'll be out on a cycling holiday October 5-26, so response time will be longer than normal for the next few weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience! Happy translating in the meantime... contact Joe (eojthebrave) if you need help with Git or project stuff while I'm gone (but as far as I know he isn't set up to make automated screenshots).
