I have used this module for remove multiple field remove from node add/edit page. But it is not working properly for multiple node reference field. Also if you use autocomplete term reference field then multiple field add more function not working for this module. Please have a look this issue.

I have tested this issue in both versions of Field Remove Item (7.x-1.x-dev, 7.x-1.0-rc1). dev version is not providing remove button in node reference.

Please use 7.x-1.0-rc1 version to fix this issue.

Please check with multiple node reference field. It is not working properly.

For example :

Content type : article

Two node ref. field with multi value [field1,field2]

1. First delete one field from field1 field.
2. Then delete one field from field2 field.
3. Then try to delete one field from field1 field. But you can't delete. But you can delete field value from field2
