I'm sorry if this is a basic question, but I'm just starting to build an intranet with Open Atrium and can't seem to find any app, module, block, widget or content type that allows me to create a company news section in my home page.

I've read the documentation, seen lots of videos but I don't see any "news" type of content. What type of content type should I use for this? A document page? A content page? I've tried the blog module, but it creates a blog for each user that publishes a post and I don't want that. I just need a way no publish company news & announcements, like new hires, new company policies, etc. etc.

Hi Pedro,

One solution might be to create a Taxonomy for say 'News' and then create a View that displays all of the 'News' nodes and display this view on the front page.
