budalokko CreditAttribution: budalokko commentedNone of the translations work, even on a FAPI simple form, so most probably the error is at plupload module, not plupload widget. I moved it to this project. Feel free to move it back if I am wrong.
Tried to apply patch in #2766275: Multiple translation strings changed in Plupload library 2.1.9 but it didn't work, so we need to see why translations are not being loaded even with the test form.

budalokko CreditAttribution: budalokko commentedActually the problem was the same as in #2766275: Multiple translation strings changed in Plupload library 2.1.9.
Attached patch is the same submitted there for Drupal 8.
Somebody willing to test it, you should clear your cache, visit a page with a plupload form like http://SITENAME/plupload-test, add some translations to admin/config/regional/translate and check they are properly translated when visiting http://SITENAME/plupload-test again (in this order).
