When i install a theme in drupal 7.X i get no pager at the bottom of te screen anymore. ( 1 2 3 ...) When i install drupal theme (Stark) the pager is visible again. In Views it is activated and see the pager in the "Auto preview" but when i return to the home page it is gone...I use mayo as theme but other theme's do the same. On another site where i also use the Mayo theme the pager still works. It worked for a long time but suddenly it was vanished and can't find where it went wrong. Somebody who knows how to solve this?

sounds like a css change at some point has hidden it. Inspect the HTML and CSS
CSS
Thanks for your quick reply, i'm not that clever in HTML and CSS. Can you give me any direction where i should look for and in with file, do i have to look in the Theme file or drupal core files.

Without a link to the site to utilize the tools available within a browser, it's impossible to pinpoint. Until you have the time to invest in learning HTML and CSS, I suggest sticking with a core theme.
Adaptive
I've discovered when it goes wrong, when i use a plain theme the pager is visible. But i wanted a theme thats also adaps on smartphones and tablets. Drupal core theme's don't do that, but as soon as i load a adaptive theme for tablets ect. the pager dissapears. this happens with every adaptive theme i use, so that's were it goes wrong, i expect that every body has this problem so there has to be a simple solution....i think....
