troubleshoot queue and index

I'd like to know how I can view the content of the current queue and also compare the current index with what's remaining.

I really need to do this to confirm or rule out that a piece of content is messing up my index, causing apachesolr_cron to fail (log shows "attempting to re-run cron while it's already running"), which consequently causes cron to fail.

I'm at a point where I index 1 node/file at a time and it keeps failing so I need to know what node/file it is.

My Solr logs remain desperately empty (I don't know why) but if you think this is the way to troubleshoot this properly, let me know.

Found the logs under %JAVA_HOME%\bin\logs FWIW
