I have looked and didn't find this answer so asking here.

I have a space setup with a document page. I have added a number of documents to the page.

I have added a number of groups to the space for access.

So far so good. Now my problem is with permission to access some of the files wtihin the document page

Documents

doc 1
doc 2
file 1
file 2
ppt 1
ppt 2

I have added groups

a b c and
x y z

all can see the files in this page. Is it possible with OA to limit or exclude x y z from seeing file 2 doc 1 and ppt 2

If you want to restrict access to some documents you have to create a separate Section for them and only add the groups that should have access to that Section. You cannot do this within a single Section.

Does this mean if you wants one subset to have edit access and one read you need two sections and the document loaded into both sections. It can't be one document shared between two sections with different permissions for the users accessing it?
