I wanted public space comments and paragraphs to be visible to anonymous users and authenticated user that are nor member of the space.

First I checked the 'View comments' permission for anonymous users.
It works to see comment it-self, but none of the associated Paragraphs

Same for authenticated user that are not member of the space, they can see comment it-self but not the associated Paragraphs.

For both authenticated user that are not member of the space and anonymous user the arrow to expand/collapse does'nt seem to work and the button "expand all/collapse all" do not show.

Could not reproduce this. If your space is public then anonymous users should already be able to see both the comments and the paragraphs. At least it works fine on our test sites here. You'll need to post a step-by-step procedure for reproducing this on a fresh Atrium install for us to help more with that.

If the expand/collapse button isn't working then it's likely you have something else on the page that is causing a Javascript error. Look in your Browser inspect-element console tab to look for an JS errors.

on a fresh instal with user #1

1) create space from site map using the wizard : 1) Give title, 2) Default space blue print and 3) Public group visibility

2) create document section from site map using the wizard : 1) Give title, 2) choose "document section, 3) section visibility empty (by default)

3) view this document section and create a document content within this document section
Just some text in the body fields; Everything else left with default values.

4) display the created document node and add a comment
(just some text in the WYSIWYG) The saved comment is visible by user#1 (see user_1_visible_comment.png)

5) log out then go to space>document section> document node
The comment is not visible by anonymous user (see anonymous_invisible_comment.png)

6) create a random user. just username, email, password and display name.

7) log in as this random user then go to space>document section> document node
The comment is visible by this authenticated user
(see see user_random_visible_comment.png)

I still have the same problem with the latest version OA and the theme "Openatrium modern theme".
When comments are enabled for anonymous users, the expand / collapse button does not work for them.
I tried the various options of jquery update.
The console shows:
The use of "getPreventDefault ()" is deprecated. Use "defaultPrevented" instead.
jquery.min.js: 3: 7108
Me limit of competence being reached, I thank you to let me know if you find a solution or to help me find a search track.

It is likely that some javascript code file is not being included for anonymous users. Anonymous comments are not typically recommended and not fully tested. Compare a logged-in user and anonymous user and see if some javascript is missing.
