Discovered an issue that appears to apply when the bootstrap theme is applied to the "Manage Form Display" on entity editing (content types, users). Changes made to the visibility (Hidden. etc) do not save when the form is saved.
If I switch back to a default theme, like Seven, the problem goes away.
Verified on two different sites.

markhalliwellThe base theme is not intended to be used for administrative purposes, despite how well it may seem to "work".

markhalliwellI'd recommend you stick with seven for now. This isn't likely to be fixed anytime soon.

Any ideas on how to force user editing (/user/$uid/edit) from Bootstrap? I have a use case here where users need to be edited from mobile devices.
The admin theme seems to take over, even though I have "use admin theme for content editing" unchecked.
EDIT: Probably https://www.drupal.org/node/1256788
