Problem/Motivation

#2763043: Rename Paste form form ID was committed and we can use hook_form_FORM_ID_alter() in the install hook of mailhandler_d8_demo.

Proposed resolution

Replace hook_form_alter() with hook_form_FORM_ID_alter() in mailhandler_d8_demo. Update the tests.
