I have a node creation form that is made available for panels via the form-block module. The media widget button label has changed from "browse" to "attach" and it just does not work. It shows basically the same symptoms as in https://www.drupal.org/node/2705001. So I have applied the patch from there, but to no avail.
When i show the form outside panels, just with form-block only, the field widget works.

Any luck with this @Volker23? I am seeing a similar issue and it is pretty opaque. I have Panels but not form-block.

I'm seeing the same thing with Panelizer. We were running beta1 and it worked fine, then it stopped working after the beta2 upgrade.

Recent versions of media have resolved most of peoples concerns and is compatible with entity translation, multilingual and various advanced configurations. Due to the high volume of inactive and most often irrelevant issues we are Closing this as (outdated). If for whatever reason this issue is important to you AND you still have issues after checking the media recipe documentation, then let us know and we will review your concerns.

Otherwise, see the recipe documentation for how to configure media and for troubleshooting tips OR refer to the media_dev distribution if you want to see a working media setup.
