I'm just wondering what is the status of porting the uc_usps and uc_ups modules to Drupal 8? It would be great to be able to use the shipping calculator features of Ubercart.

The main issue for the D8 port of Ubercart is #2640736: [meta] Tracking the status of the D8 port.

Flat rate and weight rate shipping both work.
UPS and USPS are not ported yet. If you would like to port the modules or sponsor the port, that would be helpful. Keep in mind that this is not a straight port - there are many architectural changes and new features being added for shipping in D8.
