Sorting in views on base of country name

Hi.

I was working on views with location module and I applied sorting on base of Country Name.
Everything was working fine but I noticed an issue that when I apply sorting, people with country United Arab Emirates were being placed in group of "A" list countries like "Afghanistan", instead of in list of "U" named countries.

So I guessed it may be because Location module saves UAE as "Arab Eimartes" in DB. It is just a theory. Can anyone please explain is this the actual issue. And if so, what other countries may be being affected by this scenario. And if not, then what is the fix for this issue?
