"Node Gallery File Cover" View Mode does nothing in Image Thumbnail Grid view

I'm trying to start slideshow directly from "cover" image, but even if i've done all as described in this post Image Thumbnail Grid view shows always
in "thumbnail" mode.

"Cover Image Thumbnail" View shows precisely the setted Cover image

What can be the mistake or inattention?
