Hello,

I'm not sure it this is a language.module or a menu.module issue. However, I am having an issue with a bilingual menu tab. The steps I took are:

1. Created a basic page in English (default language) and then translated it into French.
2. Added the page to the main menu in English by going to 'structure - menus - main navigation - add link'. I then add the title for the menu tab and add the URL.
3. I then translate the menu tab and add the French tab title and the corresponding French URL in the translation interface.
4. I click save.

The problem is that when I have done that, I go to the English part of the site and click on my English tab that I just created, the site goes to the French URL and the page content displays:

Page not found
The requested page could not be found.

This, even though I have specified the English URL for the English tab and the same for the French. I have rechecked this about 10 times, even deleted the offending page and recreated it along with the menu tabs for both languages and it keeps on happening. This is happening on all my menus. The translations are getting switched to the corresponding other language.

E.g. Tab title in English 'store' switches to the French url .../fr/boutique and the French menu tab path gets switched to the English url .../store
Essentially, the system is switching the languages by itself after I have set up the menus.

Does anyone know why this might be?

Thank you.

M

Multi language has problems, see for example

which is still blocking me from working properly.
