OpenEDU Core Components

This section considers the core components of OpenEDU:

• Schools: A set of content types, entities and modules which may be used to describe and present the sometimes complex organizational structure of a University.
• Syndication: A set of components which enable RSS and JSON distribution and/or aggregation of content originating from any point within the Schools hierarchy.
• Identity: A set of contrib modules packaged to support external identity provisioning (LDAP, SAML, Social, etc.)
• API: A set of modules that provide a model for extended API services. Notifications functions delivered with OpenEDU utilize this API model.
