I want to hide status message "locating you.." for visitors. I entered "none" in the field of "Message displayed while visitor is being geolocated", click "save configuration" but no changes are saved. More over, no other changes that i do are not save. Help, pls, to fix it

Hi monkeymafia,

I have created a patch which fixes this issue.

After applying this patch when we use the "IPGV&M: Set my location" Block and click on the Find me button, it will display the custom message that we have used under the configuration page of the module. Use to have no message shown.

Kindly review the same.

but sorry, i can't fix this issue with your solution. i don't use "IPGV&M: Set my location" Block. i properly understood that i must activate it? and i have to add in the code just number "2" after "..._text " according to your patch?
i still can't change any settings on the configuration page of the module

Hi monkeymafia,

The above patch fixes the issue for setting the custom message under the fieldset "DATA COLLECTION OPTIONS" for "Message displayed while visitor is being geolocated"

So i guess this patch needs to be committed. Could you confirm if it is working on a new drupal instance installation and trying the same?

As for your scenario could you elaborate more on where you are facing problems with changing the settings ?
Could it be a conflict with any other module ?

i've updated Drupal to 7.43 and committed this patch but issue is still not fixed. i attached video file with showing of this issue. i can't change any settings of this module. i faced problem when i wanted to hide "locating you" message

@monkeymafia: in the setting 'Message display while visitor is being geolocated' try with "none" (without quote or <> symbols). in fact if you are using the latest version you can just let the field empty normally.
