The MarkerClusterer library not shows the cluster icons because it has moved to github as it described here.

For a quick and very dirty solution download the library file and the images folder and put them to thirdparty folder of gmap module.

Then change the line 190 of the library file to :
MarkerClusterer.prototype.MARKER_CLUSTER_IMAGE_PATH_ = 'http://www.YOURDOMAIN.gr/sites/all/modules/gmap/thirdparty/images/m';

A related issue and feature request might is the https://www.drupal.org/node/2229471.

I did the steps, but nothing changed. the request is always directed to http://google-maps-utility-library-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/markerclu... instead of the local repo that i copied.

Hello, @Alias123456

Make sure that at "MarkerClusterer settings" (bottom of the page admin/config/services/gmap) the name of the js file is markerclusterer.js.

We ran into the same issue and made some changes to the GMap Module instead of the MarkerClusterer library file.

This resolves two problems:
- The path to the icons is not hard coded so you don't need to manage that
- There is no concern with updates to the marker clustering library for the Google Maps API

The patch in #4 is against 7.x-2.11.

This patch is against 7.x-2.x-dev.

Hopefully that helps for #5?

Edit: Comparing the two patches they are the same so this may not resolve #5 problem.

Edit 2: It looks like my patch might not be good as it contains the full path from docroot to the files which is incorrect. I'll try again to make a patch without the full path from docroot.

Submitting a new patch that has the correct pathing in it.

This patch also contains the library file and the images folder as mentioned in the original post.

@infopicard hopefully this works for you!
