The current dependency on SSP is 1.13.2, which is over a year old. There are significant security and performance enhancements available in later versions, and the semantic versioning on the project appears to protect backwards-compatibility in the major version.

I tried to keep it as broad as possible while keeping the current peg as a minimum.
