Although you've got a fantastic history of contribution, the listing page itself needs much more work.

Take a look at other organisations listed here to see the kind of description and quality required to be listed, then please update yours to give us further insight into the company and it's Drupal history, offerings and contributions.

@rickdonohoe - what is status of our organization listing? I feel it looks fairly similar to many of the organization nodes on If we're not ready, what else should we do? At this point, we should be a bit towards the top of list based on our contributions.

It has been 11 days since last comment...any updates? Google Summer of Code is over and we're still not properly listed even though we committed code to 20+ modules on and were credited on 92 issues fixed in the past 3 months.

Per the Marketplace guidelines:

Drupal Services is a listing of companies which provide Drupal-related services..

That is the whole point of the listing - companies which you can contact to get some sort of service from them e.g. build a website for you. Google Summer of Code does not fit those requirements, therefore we cannot list it in this section.

That said, as any other organization on, GSoC is listed in the general organizations listing: (you can see it on the very first page). That listing is ordered by the number of credits and displays all kinds of organizations contributing to Drupal (including service providers, end users, local community groups, etc.).

@tvn - I believe we belong in the service listings section too. One of our goals is to connect with people looking for specific code/projects to be developed. Being at the top of these listings is our goal so that potential projects even realize we're available. One advantage to working with us...if the project is officially selected for GSoC, Google will fund the project.

@Slurpee, given that we now have a list of Organizations as well as the Drupal Services list, I recommend we close this issue and not have GSoC added to Drupal Services. GSoC is a project, not a company. The page doesn't make it clear what services are provided. Connecting GSoC to people looking for specific code/projects doesn't seem to be the same as what many of the other service providers are offering.

Thanks to contributions, GSoC is currently showing on the first page on the organization list. We all appreciate the work that goes into this project.
