The last 7.x release (7.x-2.0-beta1) is now 4 years (!) old, and since then many fixes have been committed. Why not releasing 7.x-2.0-beta2 or the final 7.x-2.0?

I agree, a new release is overdue.

If the maintainers are busy I would be happy to maintain the 7.x version of jPlayer module, just add me as a maintainer.
